Grandparents are invited to visit their grandchildโs classroom and spend some special time together! To help everyone get to classrooms on time and avoid long check-in lines, **we strongly encourage grandparents to pre-register.**

Bring your **Texas Driverโs License to the Vickers front office any day BEFORE September 11th** to have it scanned. We will have your visitor information ready so you can quickly pick up your pass on the morning of the event!
โ ๏ธ **Please remember:**
* Our visitor system resets each school year, so **even if your ID was scanned last year, it must be scanned again for 2026โ27.**
* If you are unable to pre-register, you may check in that morning, but **lines may be VERY long**, so please arrive early and be patient as we work to get everyone checked in.
* **ALL visitors MUST be listed on the studentโs emergency contact list.**
* Please **RSVP by September 4th** so we can plan accordingly.

Vickers Elementary had a great start to the school year with 97.4% attendance for August, exceeding our yearly goal of 96%! ๐ Kindergarten led the way with an outstanding 98.3% attendance rate for the month!
As we celebrate this strong beginning, our August data also reminds us that every minute of learning matters:

Great job, Lions! February attendance came in at 94.4%, with 4th grade leading the way at 95.5%! ๐ We recognize that sickness was something that affected our attendance this past month.
