Dear Vickers Families,  

My name is Lucy Munoz and I am thrilled to serve as the new Assistant Principal. From the first moment that you enter Vickers, you can sense the unity, spirit, and family-feel community. As I look forward to meeting our school families, I would like to introduce myself.

I am originally for Harlingen, Tx and moved to Victoria to further progress my career in education.  I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher and make a difference in a child’s life. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Special Education from Our Lady of the Lake University, along with a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas. My career in education began with the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District, where I served over seven years as a Resource, Kindergarten, and Third-grade teacher.  

As the assistant principal, I am committed to ensuring that students in our care are safe, healthy, and happy. I will work alongside staff, parents, and community members to ensure that your child receives the very best education that meets his/her needs.
