Victoria ISD invites families to join the fun at The Spectacular School Race, an exciting evening designed to spark a love of learning in our youngest students. The event will be held on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Victoria Public Library.
The Spectacular School Race is open to ECSE, Pre-K, and 3K students and their families. The evening will feature engaging emergent reading activities that build early childhood school readiness.
โThis event is all about celebrating the joy of learning,โ said Early Childhood Coordinator Carol Dippel. โFamilies will have the chance to explore hands-on activities that not only promote reading skills but also create lasting memories together.โ
Interactive booths, playful games, and delicious snacks will keep families entertained throughout the evening. Each child will receive special take-home goodies, and families can enjoy a guided tour of the library. A highlight of the night will be a cooking class presented by H-E-B.
The Spectacular School Race is a free community event, and all families with early learners are encouraged to attend.
