Victoria ISD is aware of multiple social media posts currently circulating regarding campuses across the state. We take all concerns related to the safety and security of our students and staff seriously.
Law enforcement agencies are actively investigating these posts to ensure the safety of our school community. At this time, there are no verified threats, and out of an abundance of caution, we are working closely together to monitor the situation. The Texas Education Agency has notified Texas school districts of this threat and state law enforcement is also involved.
We will provide updates as new information becomes available from law enforcement agencies. In the meantime, we encourage the community to rely on official district and law enforcement communications for accurate information and avoid spreading unverified rumors.
