Victoria ISD Celebrates Impressive Achievements of P-TECH Pathways and Announces Upcoming Recruitment Events

Victoria ISD is proud to highlight the remarkable successes and future opportunities available through the Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) program. As VISD continues to innovate in education, the P-TECH program stands out by seamlessly blending high school, college coursework, and professional skills development into a coherent learning experience for our students.

Achievements of the P-TECH Class of 2028 at Victoria West High School

The incoming freshman cohort for the Class of 2028 has demonstrated outstanding potential, with 18 students pursuing Computer Science and 17 in Education and Training. This cohort is the largest in the history of the program, underscoring the growing interest and commitment to advanced education pathways within the district.

During the Summer Bridge program, students were given the opportunity to prepare for and take the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA), a college readiness exam.
